Kurtis is a partner focusing on the fields of Construction and Labor Law, General Liability, Premises Liability, and Insurance Defense Litigation. He represents a broad range of clients in all aspects of General Liability defense and Personal Injury litigation, including building owners, business owners, sporting facility operators, contractors and construction companies, management companies, and security companies. He also has experience handling motor vehicle, no-fault, and UM/UIM motorist matters, representing insurance carriers, trucking companies, and rideshare companies.
In 2022, Kurtis earned a spot in the inaugural DRI Diverse Rainmaker Mentoring Program which was created for high-potential, early career civil defense attorneys who are DRI members and are from historically underrepresented groups. He is also a member of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee at Kaufman Borgeest & Ryan.
